पंडित अलोपीदीन बहुत ही निडरता के साथ आता है। क्योंकि उसे लगता है कि पैसे के दम पर कुछ भी काम करवाया जा सकता है। वह मुंशी वंशीधर को हजार रुपए रिश्वत के तौर में देते हैं लेकिन मुंशी जी टस से मस नहीं होते और उन्हें गिरफ्तार करने का हुक्म दे देते हैं।

The protagonist of this story, Namak Ke Daroga Story, is Munshi Vanshidhar, a poor and low-income family member. And luckily, Munshi Vanshidhar, the only earning person in the family, gets a job in the salt department at a high post of Inspector.
So they get many opportunities for extra income because the salt department was very good for corrupt people. But from our mouths, Banshidhar Ji stands firm on his faith.
But one day, suddenly, they come to know about a salt smuggler. So Munshi Vanshidhar Ji reaches there immediately. Behind this smuggling, it is revealed that behind this smuggling is the hand of the most prominent landlord Alopidin.

It is also called Pandit Alopidin. Pandit Alopidin comes with a lot of fearlessness. Because he feels that anything can be done based on money, he gives thousand rupees to Munshi Vanshidhar as a bribe, but Munshi Ji does not budge and orders to arrest him.
This increases the bribe price, and this price reaches up to 40000. But still, the faith of Munshi Ji remains high, and eventually, the Pandit gets arrested.
Pandit Alopidin gets a lot of defamation and humiliation all over the city. But despite this, they are acquitted by the court based on money. And with his knowledge, Banshidhar gets fired from his job. Their troubles increase, and they also have to face the anger of their family members.
Then one day, suddenly, Pandit Alopidin comes to Munshiji’s house and offers him a good-paying job. Alopidin was highly impressed by the honesty and truthfulness of Munshi Vanshidhar. He was appointed Chief Manager, i.e., manager, to look after his entire business and property.

जब नमक का नया विभाग बना और ईश्वर के द्वारा दी गई इस अनमोल भेंट के व्यवहार करने का निश्चित हो गया तो लोग चोरी-छिपे इसका व्यापार करने लगे। अनेक प्रकार के छल प्रपंच षड्यंत्रों का सूत्रपात हुआ।
कोई गुस्से काम निकालता था तो कोई कैसे ही। इससे अधिकारियों के तो मौज थी। पटवारी गिरी का सर्व सम्मानित पद छोड़ छोड़ कर लोग इस नए विभाग की वर्क अंदाजी करते थे। इसके दरोगा पद के लिए तो वकीलों के मन में भी लालच आने लग गया था
यह उस दौर की बात है जब अंग्रेजी शिक्षा और ईसाई मत को लोग एक ही सिक्के के दो पहलू मानते थे। फारसी का बाहुल्य था। प्रेम की कथाएं और श्रृंगार रस के काव्य पढ़कर फारसी लोग सर्वोच्च पद पर अपना स्थान प्राप्त कर लेते थे।
मुंशी वंशीधर जी भी जुलेखा की विरह कथा समाप्त करके सीरी और फरहाद के प्रेम कहानी को नल और नील की लड़ाई तथा अमेरिका के आविष्कार से अधिक महत्व की बातें समझते हुए रोजगार की खोज में निकल पड़े।
उनके पिता एक अत्यंत ही अनुभवी और समझदार पुरुष थे।
