पवित्र संकल्प
मूकं करोति वाचलम् पंगुम् लंघयते गिरिम्।
यद् कृपा तमहं वन्दे परमानंद माधवम् ॥
जिसकी कृपा से मूक वाचाल बनता है। पंगु पर्वत पार करता है ऐसे परमानन्द माधव की वन्दना करता हूँ।
यस्व में हिमवंतो महित्वा यस्य समुद्र रस्या सहहु॥
“हिम आच्छादित पर्वत जिनकी महत्ता पुकारते हैं, और जिसकी महिमा समुद्र प्रकट कर रहा है, वह महान वस्तु तू है ।”
“अय् हिमालय । क्या यह तेरी ही गोद है, जहाँ ब्रह्म विद्या रमण करती हूं।”
“अयू गंगा ! वह पर्वत तेरे ही स्वन है कि जिनके पपान द्वारा ब्रह्म-विद्या का पोषण होता हूँ !” स्वामी रामतीर्थ के प्रेरणात्मक और ज्वलंत हृदयस्पर्शी उपदेश पढ़कर पवित्र आदर्श और दिव्य ज्योति अर्थ जीवन क्रान्ति हुई । सन् १९१९-२० के समय में अद्भुत
आत्म मंथन हुआ । “ईश्वर क्या ? सृष्टि क्या ? मनुष्य जीवन क्या ?” इन गहरे तत्त्व-
ज्ञान के प्रश्नों से हृदय सागर में विचारों की लहरें लहराने लगी। इसी समय हिमालय
यात्रा “कैलाश मानसरोवर-दर्शन करने का” पवित्र संकल्प हृदय में स्थापित हुआ ।
हृदय की उस पवित्र स्थिति में उत्पन्न हुए विचार का फल लाज सादृश हुआ । जीवन में सर्वप्रथम स्वामी “हंसरचित” कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा नामक पुस्तक पढ़ने में आई, तभी से उस अद्भुत दृश्य के दर्शन करने की उत्कट अभिलाषा, उत्पन्न हो गयी थी। उसी समय बीज बोया गया। परन्तु आम बोते ही तुरन्त आम खाने की इच्छा रखना आकाश कुसुमवत् हैं। इसके लिए अनेक विध कठिन तपस्या तथा कष्ट सहन करने पड़ते हैं धीरज धारण करना पड़ता है। इसके अनुसार ग्यारह वर्ष तक राह देखनी पड़ी। “राह देखावा है, उसे राहत मिलती है”, “संयम से पवित्र संकल्प सिद्ध होता है ।”
जीवन में इसी बीच अनेक विध आध्यात्मिक अभ्यास और साधना होती रही। इसका सविस्तार वर्णन हर वर्ष की डायरी से मिल सकता है। सन् २१ से पहले से ही डायरी लिखने का अभ्यास रहा। अब सब डायरी उपलब्ध होना कठिन है ।

The fruit of the thought born in that pure state of the heart resembled shame. For the first time in my life, I came across a book titled ‘Kailash Mansarovar Yatra’ by Swami “Hansarchit”, since then I had a burning desire to visit that wonderful sight. That’s when the seed was sown. But the desire to eat mangoes immediately after sowing mangoes is like a flower in the sky. For this one has to endure many difficult penances and hardships, one has to be patient. According to this, he had to wait for eleven years. “The way is visible, he gets relief”, “The holy resolution is proved by restraint.”
