Hindi Tamil Dictionary / हिन्दी तमिल कोष पुस्तक के कुछ अंश :- तमिल कोष का यह संस्करण बहुत देर बाद निकल रहा है। कागज़ की कमी व छपाई की कठिनाइयों के कारण ऐसा हुआ है। फिर भी उसके लिये हम माफ़ी चाहते हैं।
बीच में तमिल कोष का गुटका-संस्करण निकाला गया था। उससे सोखनेवालों को संतोष नहीं हुआ। बड़े संस्करण की मांग हुई। इसलिये अब पुराने संस्करण को ही फिर छापा गया है। इसमें पृष्ठ संख्या कम है पर शब्द-संख्या अधिक । यान यह है कि हमने काग़ज़ पर छपाई की जगह की लम्बाई (गेज) बढ़ायो है। अंत में परिशिष्ट के रूप में करीब एक हज़ार नये व उपयोगी शब्द जोड़ दिये गये हैं। इस तरह पुस्तक को उपयोगिता बढ़ गयी है। तब भी विद्यार्थियों की सभी जरूरतें शायद पूरी नहीं हो सकेंगी। हमारी उन से मिश्रत है कि वे अपनी बेशकीमती सलाह देकर मदद पहुँचायें ताकि अगली बार कुछ और तरक्की की जा सके।
सर्व साधारण की स्थिति का ख्याल कर हमने दाम सिर्फ चार रुपये रखा है।

yaan yah hai ki hamane kaagaz par chhapaee kee jagah kee lambaee (gej) badhaayo hai. ant mein parishisht ke roop mein kareeb ek hazaar naye va upayogee shabd jod diye gaye hain. is tarah pustak ko upayogita badh gayee hai. tab bhee vidyaarthiyon kee sabhee jarooraten shaayad pooree nahin ho sakengee. hamaaree un se mishrat hai ki ve apanee beshakeematee salaah dekar madad pahunchaayen taaki agalee baar kuchh aur tarakkee kee ja sake. sarv saadhaaran kee sthiti ka khyaal kar hamane daam sirph chaar rupaye rakha hai.

This edition of Tamil Kosh is coming out after a long time. This has happened due to the shortage of paper and printing difficulties. Nevertheless, we apologize for that.
In between a Gutka-edition of the Tamil corpus was brought out. Those who were absorbed by it were not satisfied. There was a demand for a larger version. That’s why now only the old edition has been reprinted. The page count is less but the word count is more.
That is, we have increased the length (gauge) of the printing space on the paper. In the end, about one thousand new and useful words have been added in the form of appendix. In this way the usefulness of the book has increased. Even then all the needs of the students may not be met. We request them to help us by giving their valuable advice so that some more progress can be made next time.
