जिस ग्रन्थकी रचना गोस्वामी तुलसीदासजी जैसे अनन्य राम भक्त के द्वारा की गयी हो , जिन्होंने भगवान् श्रीसीतारामजी की कृपासे उनकी दिव्य लीलाओंका प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव करके यथार्थ रूपमें वर्णन किया है , साक्षात् भगवान् श्रीगौरीशंकरजी की आज्ञा से हुई तथा जिसपर उन्हीं भगवान ने ‘ सत्यं शिवं सुन्दरम् ‘ लिखकर अपने हाथसे सही की , उसका इस प्रकारका अलौकिक प्रभाव कोई आश्चर्य की बात नहीं है ।
ऐसी दशा में इस अलौकिक एवं दिव्य ग्रन्थका जितना भी प्रचार किया जायगा , जितना अधिक पठन – पाठन (ramcharitmanas chaupai) एवं मनन – होगा , उतना ही संसार का कल्याण होगा- इसमें बिलकुल भी संदेह नहीं है ।
वर्तमान समयमें तो , जब सर्वत्र हाहाकार मचा हुआ है , सारा संसार दुःख एवं अशान्तिकी भयंकर आग से जल रहा है , विश्व के कोने – कोने में मार – काट मची हुई है और प्रतिदिन हजारों मनुष्योंका विनाश हो रहा है , करोड़ों अरबोंकी सम्पत्ति एक – दूसरेके विनाश के लिये काम में ली जा रही है , विज्ञान की सारी शक्ति पृथ्वीको समाप्त करने में लगी हुई है , संसारके बड़े से बड़े मस्तिष्क संहार के अनेको साधनोंको ढूंढ़ निकालनेमें व्यस्त हैं , संसार में सुख – शान्ति एवं प्रेमका प्रसार करने तथा ईश्वर कृपा का जीवनमें अनुभव करने के लिये रामचरितमानसका पाठ एवं अनुशीलन बहुत जरूरी हो गया है ।
